Hey, my name is Grace, the author behind The Un(grace)ful Blog. Recently I have also become a philosophy major who has moved away from her tiny town to live in the city. Yay! This has lead to a lot of new experiences, some good and some bad. But when life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and when life gives you a whole lemon tree, open a lemonade stand. I guess this is my lemonade stand.
I’m a 2 am writing with a cup of coffee kind of girl (although I often prefer tea). As a student, I’m adapted to late nights and that has translated into many midnight writing sessions over the years. Many of these include late-night reflections on writing and my life.
I didn’t want to put these reflections in a notebook and forget about them, so instead, I decided to start my blog. Over the last few months, this blog is increasingly becoming a mix of an open diary and an advice column. With advice, not just for people finding their way through life, but also for writers. As a writer blogging was the natural platform for sharing my thoughts.
It all started in February of 2017 when I started a blog called The Write Mind Online and that grew into what is now The Un(grace)ful blog. In addition to blogging, I’ve spent the last year working on my first book under the working title All I Need is Sunshine, that I hope to publish in the coming year. If you want updates on my book you can follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter which are linked in the sidebar. As for my blog, you can subscribe by email to be alerted of my posts, which happen at least once a week on Mondays.
